Most American’s know that the blue plate special means a budget friendly dinner with all the fixin’s, a meat and potatoes fill you up kind of meal.   True to form, today’s wine was not only low priced, but packed so much flavor it would make a clown car look spacious.  Each sip was as concentrated as a nerd playing chess, filling my palate with zesty lemon, juicy peach so fresh you’d think you were at an orchard, dewy cantaloupe, and a finish as smooth as Danny Zukko. It had a seductive yet refreshing taste that drew you in then surprised you with a crisp undertone; and, went down as easy as a conversation between good friends.

As I drank it, my mouth was filled a symphony of flavors that seemed so vastly distinct but somehow harmonious.  It reminded me of a fall day where you can always find a sweetness in the air amidst the crisp chilling breeze. To say I enjoyed this week’s wine would be an understatement, and I’m pretty sure my bank account did too.

Keep you wallets full and your mouths happy!
